The public album option should be visible when you set up a shared album there should be a checkbox under the field where you add users. It’s surprising that Apple thinks that this is a good user experience. Here’s a link to the album I’ve set up for this article. If you accidentally remove an album, choose Edit > Undo Delete Album to restore it. The album is removed from the library and from iCloud, but the items in the album remain in your photo library. Control-click the album, choose Delete Album, then click Delete. Library: Presents all the photos on your device. In the Photos app on your Mac, click My Albums in the sidebar. You can click it to view it, and if you right-click the link, you can choose Copy Link to send it to others. The Apple Photos app has four tabs on iPhone: Library, For You, Albums and Search. In a couple of seconds, Photos will display a link with the URL of the album. Next, select the shared album, click the People button in the toolbar, and check Public Website. (The menu shows all the keywords applied to photos in your library. Create a new smart album, and chose the condition keyword is, then click the third menu and choose the keyword you’ve just applied. In the Keyword section, enter a name for the location. Click New Shared Album, enter a name for the album, then click Create. Select all the photos, then click the Inspector button or press Command-I. When you’ve done that, click the Share button, and choose iCloud Photo Sharing. One person pointed out that it was possible, and showed me where the feature was it’s not easy to find. I had wondered why you couldn’t create a public album, and I mentioned it on Twitter a few days ago.
